Origin Health

At Origin Health, we believe in the wellness lifestyle – a proactive, preventative approach to health that is about restoring your health beyond the relief of pain (although we recognize that is very important)!

Since 2008, Origin Health has been promoting and expanding our “wellness vision” - the idea that health is not achieved by simply chasing away symptoms. Instead, it is fostering a lifestyle that seeks a state of optimum physical, chemical and spiritual health, or Well. Being. Origin Health provides the ultimate health experience with an “outside-the-box” approach to your health needs. We offer an integrative blend of chiropractic, physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, and osteopathic manual therapy services(and more) all in one warm and welcoming environment.

Our collaborative approach involves a team of highly - skilled professionals working together to effectively and efficiently restore your Well. Being. After helping you get free of your pain and back to your normal function, the wellness lifestyle teaches the principles of the human body that lead to life-long health and wellbeing.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. As such, we require 48 HOURS NOTICE for any online cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less then 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a $65 CANCELLATION FEE. Please note this fee will apply regardless of the reason for a late cancellation or no show.

THE MASSAGE THERAPISTS AT ORIGIN HEALTH ARE REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPISTS WITH OVER 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, OFFERING A VARIETY OF TECHNIQUES FROM DEEP TISSUE, TO RELAXATION, PRE AND POST NATAL AS WELL AS OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL THERAPY TO GET YOU THE BEST RESULTS POSSIBLE.

Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.

Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.

Ernest completed the Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College as campus valedictorian in 2014. The value of a hard day’s work – as well as the physical stress it can cause on the body, are both familiar to Ernest, after almost 10 years in the labour field. However now, as a Registered Massage Therapist, Ernest has the ability to assess and treat the very same aches and pains associated with work and everyday living. His clinical experience ranges in treating a variety of people including office workers, manual labourers, athletes, and the physically impaired. This taught him that every individual has their own needs and abilities to be considered.

Using an appropriate combination of techniques including swedish, myofascial, muscle energy, Ernest is able to address both secondary and primary issues, to incorporate a full body approach to healing.
